One of the first steps to developing one’s personal "signature style" is figuring out what image of yourself you would like to imprint on the world around you. The first building block when developing your "signature style" is finding specific wardrobe pieces that highlight that image of yourself you would like to imprint which produces your "signature style."
Take time and consider how you like to dress? Do you live in the city or the country, east verses west coast? Body image is another consideration as well as the color tone of your complexion. Choosing flattering colors is important when selecting your clothes. Are you conservative or business formal, verses fashion forward? Another consideration is the many hats you wear in your day to day life. For example, are you a student, mom, grandmother, teacher, lawyer, manager, CFO? What’s your life style?
